About Consona CRM
The name Consona CRM is new, but actually the Consona CRM solution is not new at all. We’ve been in business delivering customer relationship management and knowledge management solutions for more than 30 years—but under two different names: Onyx Software and KNOVA Software.
Both companies have a long history of providing some of the world’s leading brands with world-class software and services. Whether it’s automating sales processes, tracking marketing campaigns, managing support cases, or offering an online self-service experience, it’s always been about your customers. No matter what we’re called, we plan to keep that our focus!
History
Acquired by Consona Corporation in 2006, Onyx Software had always been a strong player in the CRM marketplace, consistently maintaining a vision around product quality and leading-edge technology. Building on Onyx CRM’s solid foundation, Consona began to expand its CRM capabilities and purchased KNOVA Software in 2007, a leading knowledge management software company that had developed a suite of self-service, contact center, and community applications to help automate the most critical part of customer service—case resolution.
The combination of Onyx and KNOVA already offers the market’s first integrated case and knowledge management solution. And we won’t stop there. Consona has a solid vision for the growth of its Consona CRM product suite, including an aggressive acquisition strategy to acquire both vertical industry and enterprise-class product functionality, as well as a solid product feature roadmap, based on customer requests.
Why the new product name?
We want to make a statement to the marketplace about our vision to deliver a fully integrated suite of CRM solutions across service and support, sales and marketing functions. While we remain committed to supporting and enhancing each of our acquired solutions, there is no better way to emphasize integration than bringing them under the Consona name. As we acquire and develop new solutions over time, you can count on them adopting the Consona name—and everything that comes with it. What does this mean for you?
